Discover the definition of the term Non-Répudiation presented by Les Assises de la Cybersécurité.

NON-RÉPUDIATION

Non-repudiation is one of the properties of information considered in cybersecurity (along with confidentiality, integrity and availability). It consists of ensuring that an action on the data carried out on behalf of a user (after authentication) cannot be repudiated by the latter. Just like confidentiality and integrity, non-repudiation relies on encryption mechanisms.

In France, spouses in a marriage are also considered non-repudiable. Be wary if you are assured otherwise!
