Vulnerability management is a market designed to provide companies with the tools needed to discover, classify, prioritize and then track the lifecycle (and correction) of vulnerabilities present on their systems. It is one of the essential parts of a cybersecurity strategy, along with risk identification.

Not to be confused with “vulnerability management”, because that has never been an acceptable excuse in a commercial court.
