VULNERABILITY (HUMAN)

Often used as a synonym for a computer flaw (see “flaw”), a vulnerability can also be human, in which case it will be exploited as part of a social engineering attack, in order to push the victim to help the attacker achieve his goals (for example by giving him his identifiers). The intelligence world uses the acronym MICE to describe the main human vulnerabilities that can be exploited (Money, Ideology, Coercion/Compromise, Ego).
